1. Introduction

The cold weather drilling rigs are designed for operation in cold weather environment, and the whole equipment are capable work under very low temperatures. The cold weather drilling rigs is focused on protecting workers in very cold conditions and ensure the drilling services carry out smoothly. For cold weather drilling rigs, we can provide different designs, such as modularized design, truck mounted design, trailer design, fast moving design, etc.

2. Main features

● Cold temperature pad drilling rig, cold temperature modularized drilling rig, cold temperature fast moving drilling rig, cold temperature bootstrap drilling rig and cold temperature truck mounted drilling rig are available. ● Special materials and processes suitable for cold temperature are used for raw materials of main structures, welding, machining and treatment.

● Special cold resistance components and vulnerable parts are selected for cold temperature drilling rigs.

● Windwalls and heat preservation shed are provided for open area operations.

● Electric heaters, air heating devices and air conditioners are provided for operation areas.

● Electric tracing and heaters are provided for circulating pipelines, hydraulic, air and electric lines and facilities.

● Steam coils, steamed air, electric heaters, surface heat insulation layers are provided for major structural parts, key area and facilities.

● Engine start assisting devices for cold temperature is equipped.

● Special oil for cold temperature is adopted.
